UrbanFerrets is a group of friends from all over the world, brought together by the first-person-shooter game of UrbanTerror.
Our members range from newbies to old hands and from young to... well not so young  , everyone is welcome here. If you're looking for a new tag to put in front of your name and forget about, you're going to be disappointed here though. We take pride in being a "clan for people who don't like clans"! Manners, friendliness and the general attitude are valued far more highly than any in-game achievements you might be able to impress other clans with. We are a democracy to the end and everyone in the clan has a say about its running, even as the owner I have been overruled in the past if the will of the rest of the clan is strong enough.
The clan is based mainly around the Ferret Wih a Big Gun (FWABG) server which I started nearly a year ago now. Some members have found their way to us through our bomb or orb servers and been welcomed in just as any other, but without playing on the FWABG server, some do find it hard to keep up on the latest movements in the clan.

Personally I try to create servers that give players a different gaming experience, whether by restricting the weapon set to encourage specialisation in a particular weapon, or through innovative maps and little-played game types. Alongside the FWABG sniper server we have the "Ferret with a big ball - Orb" server, running 2 custom maps based on $Null's original, and slightly unusual, Orb map. If you haven't tried it out yet, take a look at the bottom of this page for details on how to connect to the server. We also recently started a "Skeet Shoot" server running from the map designed for the Urban Zone's Skeet Shooting competition. Connection details for the Skeet are also listed at the bottom of this page.
